Equipment
Setting you up with the right equipment is all about making sure you have the best on-snow experience.
When you join us for a trip, we take care of most of the gear, including safety equipment. Your use of this equipment comes at no extra cost and is part of your trip. You bring your clothes, outerwear, ski or snowboard boots, helmet and goggles, and we’ll outfit you with the following:
Avalanche transceiver
Training and use of avalanche transceivers.
CMH Safety Pack
Includes radio, shovel and probe.
Skis & Snowboards
We strive to set you up for the best turns of your life. This includes using industry-leading equipment; our partnerships help us bring you the best skis and boards suited for big backcountry powder days.
Skiers
We provide heli-skis and poles. Ski boots and clothing/outerwear are not provided, so please bring your own.
If you're joining us for a heli-assisted ski touring trip, you must bring your own equipment, including skis. Skis, skins, poles, boots and clothing/outerwear are not provided.
Snowboarders
Bring your own board, or we have a number of snowboards available. Snowboard boots and clothing/outerwear are not provided. Please bring your own.

The Atomic Backland 107 delivers great freeride performance in a wide and lightweight package. The 107 provides more surface area for maximum flotation in deep pow, while being capable of charging through crud and chop with total confidence.

Blizzard Spur

The Blizzard Spur is the ultimate pow ski for deep powder days. The Spur has varying waist widths specific to the skier’s length of choice. The rocker-camber-rocker profile makes the Spur nimble with effortless float on all types of powder.
Atomic Backland 117

The Backland 117 was created for big mountain skiers dropping big lines in big terrain. Lightweight for its size underfoot, this ski delivers more surface area for maximum flotation in deep pow. The 117 is capable of charging through crud and chop with total confidence and allows for smooth and stable handling on harder snow.

K2 Pon2oon / Crescendo

This ski was designed with the philosophy of slaying powder easier, and faster. The Pon2oonin is rockered in the tip and tail and features a redesigned powder tip and a non-twin tip progressive powder tail. It has progressed over the years to have a more predictable turn initiation and added breaking power in the tail. The dimensions on the Pon2oon increase as the ski gets longer, maxing out at a whopping 134 mm underfoot in the 189 cm size.

Burton 3D Fish

Ability: Intermediate
The Burton 3D Fish uses surfboard-inspired 3D convex shaping in the tip and tail which gives the board a great level of surfability, responsiveness, and control in deep snow. This board is best suited for intermediate to expert riders who may be getting into very deep snow for the first time or who are looking for effortless float and a surfy ride.

A huge rockered nose provides massive float to stay up on the steep and deep, while a thoughtful, lightweight, and powerful construction keeps the ride maneuverable and powerful. This board is great for intermediate to expert riders looking for a traditional shape that is easy to maneuver and will stay afloat on the deepest days.
Salomon Super 8

Ability: Intermediate
Whether you’re, ripping pow or carving groomers, the wider design with the control under your back foot and allows a smooth and precise maneuverability, speed and float. This board is a great option for people who prefer a traditional snowboard shape but don’t fall into the sizing spectrum of the Salomon Takaharu Nakai.
